Inspiration for Timepiece Worthy of His Famous Airships
It is not surprising that this unique city has provided the inspiration for one of Rüdiger’s most characteristically German Collections. The Rüdiger Konstanz Collection would make former city resident Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin, founder of the Zeppelin Airship company, proud. The beautiful engine turned perlage decoration on the dial is a proud reminder of the industrial age when German Zeppelins ruled the skies. Surrounding the cloudlike perlage at the center of the dial, there is an undulating Côtes de Genève engraving.

The Rüdiger Konstanz Collection is available in silver or black dial versions, both featuring a 24-hour ISA-8176 GMT movement that can be set independently using a second crown at 2 o’clock. This beautiful timepiece is equipped with an extra large date window at 6 o’clock and uses real stainless steel screws to attach the dial to the movement.
The entire effect is slightly retro and totally German. There is an offset small continuous second hand at 2 o’clock and a beautiful applied Rüdiger logo at 12 o’clock. Rüdiger Konstanz timepieces can be equipped with your choice of a beautiful crocodile patterned leather strap or an integrated stainless steel bracelet. Like all Rüdiger watches, the Konstanz is water resistant to 165 Feet.
Even though you can no longer book passage on a German Zeppelin, you can still wear a watch that looks like it belongs on a Zeppelin pilot’s wrist. The Rüdiger Konstanz Collection is an exemplary example of German engineering at its best. To reserve your own Konstanz timepiece, contact an authorized Rüdiger dealer today.
