Gevril Group is now serving our European customers and the international community from a new office in Milano, Italy under the direction of Mr. Giovanni Carlo Vincenzo. Our new European presence brings the Gevril brand full circle. Gevril started making fine timepieces in Switzerland over 265 years ago. It wasn’t until Samuel Friedmann acquired Gevril in 2001 that the brand developed a strong following in the American market.
During the past ten years, Gevril evolved into the Gevril Group, and the company has grown to include GV2 and other fine watch brands. Gevril brands have gone global, offering a growing selection of fine timepieces to a world of watch lovers who appreciate quality and exceptional value.
Gevril Group Europa is the exclusive European representative for the Gevril family of brands, distributing and servicing a growing selection of luxury, fashion and sports timepieces at a wide range of price points.
Gevril History
The Gevril brand continues a tradition of quality that began in 1758 when Jacques Gevril became the first exporter of Swiss timepieces. Jacques was called upon by King Ferdinand VI of Spain, because of his reputation for impeccable craftsmanship and artistry. He became the king’s royal watchmaker and went on to create a legacy of remarkable timepieces that can still be found in numerous European museums.
Jacques Gevril is recognized as an important contributor to the history of Swiss watchmaking, earning the Gevril name the recognition and prestige it has today.
Gevril Group Europa
Gevril Group manufactures and sells fine timepieces under the Gevril and GV2 names. Gevril Group Europa is the European distributor of Gevril, GV2, Johan Eric, Haurex, Giulio Romano, Rüdiger and Calibre.
With the creation of the Gevril Group Europa office, Gevril Group can now provide the same high level of personal and professional service to European consumers that American watch enthusiasts already enjoy.
