For Adventure Seekers and Free Fallers
The Parachute collection by GV2 is one of the most audacious in the brand’s lineup of sport-minded watches. All the elements of a classic sport watch are here, from the oversized timing bezel, to the chronograph complication, to the option of a stainless steel bracelet or rubber strap.
The standout component of the Parachute watch series appears front-and-center: a unidirectional bezel, quite a bit thicker than the average bezel, consumes a large portion of the dial side of the watch. Color combinations on the bezel help differentiate the various models: prospective owners have the option of yellow/black, blue/black, orange/black, red/black or gray/black.

Every stainless steel Parachute case is a pronounced 44 mm in diameter and 12 mm thick, with polished sides and a solid caseback featuring the imprint of an open parachute. The chronograph pushers are low profile and the crown is fluted. Parachute watches contain Swiss quartz movements and are water resistant to 165 feet.
A hobnail pattern on the black dial provides a contrasting texture to the primarily smooth surfaces. The chronograph totalizers and small seconds counters are on concentric circular grained backgrounds and appear in a “tricompax” layout at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. The counter at 3 o’clock measures constant seconds; the counter at 6 o’clock tracks elapsed chronograph hours up to twelve, and; the counter at 9 o’clock tracks elapsed chronograph minutes up to thirty. The chronograph seconds hand is centrally mounted and has a colored tip; the color varies depending on the model.

The colors of the counter hands, the hour markers and the frame of the date window also change slightly depending on the model. The hour and minute hands are lance style, and relatively thick in keeping with the watch’s overall look. Luminous paint on the hour and minute hands makes for easy reading in the dark.
Parachute watches are available on either stainless steel bracelets or black rubber straps. The bracelets have four links across with polished center links (the rest are brushed). The link pattern stops at the end links, which are solid across; the bracelets close by way of neat double-folding clasps. The custom rubber straps are fitted to the lugs and molded with a waffle texture in the center and the GV2 logo. A GV2 logo also appears on the pronged buckles.
Parachute models are a brilliant choice for people on the go who want a confident looking sport watch at a fair price. These watches are robust enough to wear during most activities and have a two-year warranty backing them up. Unlike an actual parachute, Parachute watches will not create any drag – on your lifestyle or your bank account. Contact an authorized GV2 dealer today for more information.
