In the historic location of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, Gevril is a symbol of tradition in the world of fine Swiss watch making.
From the expert artisans who design our movements, to the most minute detail on our exquisite dials, at Gevril we spare no expense to bring our customers a timepiece that they will be proud to wear today, tomorrow, and infinitely.
In 1758, Jaques Gevril became the first exporter of Swiss timepieces when he was called upon by the King of Spain, Ferdinand VI. Gevril became known for his impeccable craftsmanship and for creating timepieces of unmistakable quality.
During the 1800s, the Gevril family expanded their skill to include enameling as well as creating dials for their watches and clocks.
Today the Gevril name can be found in numerous European museums and history books that attest to the strong influence of Jacques Gevril on watch making history. Jacques Gevril is recognized as an important contributor to the history of fine Swiss watch making, earning the Gevril name esteemed recognition and prestige until today.
