The city of Herlev, a suburb of Copenhagen, is famous for having Denmark’s tallest building: the Herlev Hospital. This brightly colored concrete, glass and bronze building was designed by Gehrdt Bornebusch and is currently the fifth tallest hospital in the world. The clean lines of the circular auditorium complex adjacent to the high-rise hospital remind many of a watch, so it’s not surprising that Johan Eric designers chose to create an alluring ladies timepiece that bears the Herlev name.
