Ferragamo Adds New Flagship to Popular F-80 Line at Baselworld 2012
Salvatore Ferragamo restyled their popular F-80 Collection for the 21st century at Baselworld 2012.
The celebrated Maison Ferragamo fashion house recently introduced a spectacular update to their best selling F-80 line at Baselworld 2012. These new additions to the brand’s iconic sports-luxury line feature bold new colors and an innovative use of new materials.
A dramatically restyled F-80 Carbon Fiber GMT model was unveiled at Baselworld with eight screws on the bezel securing a high-tech carbon fiber case. The new timepiece features 24-hour indications on the chapter ring along with a small seconds counter at 2 o’clock. The spectacular orange and black dial features a special day/night indicator and an extra large date window at 6 o’clock.

This high-tech carbon fiber timepiece is perfect for world travelers who need easy access to several time zones. Like all the new F-80 models, the Ferragamo F-80 Carbon Fiber is powered by a precision quartz movement and water resistant to 330 feet. An anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the strikingly graphic dial. The new F-80 Carbon Fiber is also available in two all black versions with titanium and yellow detailing.
A new edition of the popular F-80 Chronograph was also introduced at Baselworld 2012 featuring vivid yellow, blue or fuscia caoutchouc straps that are color coordinated with the hands of the watch. These exciting new 44mm quartz chronographs feature a black IP titanium case and black ceramic bezel.
